Here's what I've found out so far: - Voltage to starter is good. warsan Feb 23, 2017 Nov 3, 2019 · Introduction I've decided to move over here after posting on a few none BMW forums I've wanted to branch out onto here for 6-12 months especially now I'm well on with this new E46 Build. - The Key is brand new directly from BMW. The doorlocks should now cycle between lock and unlock. I changed the fuel pump, checked ALL the fuses inside and outside, replaced the COMPLETE wiring, changed ALL the sensors. My first port of call is to test the voltage at the starter to see if the EWS is releasing the voltage. Also the alternator has nothing to do with dash lights.
